Exp. 2.3 Electroliquid Aggregation

During the Electroliquid Aggregation stage of this design process i found myself being challenged on all new levels through difficult object ideas i had in my head and converting them to paper. This made me think of the different ways the two Architects would "combine" the previous axonometric drawings to make unique monuments. These monuments will later be sketched up in Google SketchUp.

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

1. Integrity of form can be de-constructive according to the concept.

2. Form follows ideas through structure and design.

The Electroliquid Aggregation of the two concepts formed a very unique shape to create one of the monuments that would be used in the CryEngine 3 environment.

Rem Koolhaas

1. Exterior shapes relate to interior space.

+

2. Repetition of patterns forms a concept.

The Electroliquid Aggregation of these forms became a very complicated shape although it is very eye-catching and aesthetically pleasing (in my opinion). It was difficult to combine these two shapes at first but i believe that it shows great intergrity and form as an overall monument.
